My Portfolio
Life on the Lawn
One of my most treasured experiences at the University of Virginia was the opportunity to live in the Academical Village itself. From the community I formed to the memories I made, I will never forget my transformative time on the Lawn.
Move in Day
Calling room 25 my home
Through the lottery raffle process, I was able to secure room 25 on the West Lawn for my residence, one that used to house my mentor and good friend, Vilas Annavarapu.
His room was one of my first homes on grounds, and it truly was a full-circle moment to end my time at the university in the same room.
The Community
Unlikely bonds forged on the Lawn
The other residents on the Lawn came from a variety of backgrounds, from different academic interests to different activities on grounds. At such a large university, I never would have met some of my now-closest friends without the Lawn, bringing in such a rich and inclusive community of people together.
A Year in Polaroids
Lasting memories captured on film
I knew that my year on the Lawn would go by in a blink of an eye, so I invested in a polaroid camera to capture every moment, leaving a physical memento of that event saved for years to come.
It definitely became an incredibly expensive hobby to keep up with, but reliving each moment today as I flip through my photo album is priceless.

Polaroids: 271 and counting...
When graduation hit, I had to pack everything up, specifically taking down all 271 polaroids from my walls. To celebrate the memories made, I made a compilation video with every single polaroid taken in the year; a mini year-in-recap.
